Washington Mystics selected Matee Ajavon as the second pick in the Houston Comets’ dispersal draft today. Ajavon, a member of 2008 All-Rookie team, will be a contributing factor to the success of the Washington Mystics.

Ajavon, a guard out of Rutgers, had an up-and-down rookie season but shows potential to be a dynamic scorer with 11 double-doubles in 2008.
